Bass Angling

Boskop Dam is best known to bass anglers, however also holds carp, barbell, yellow fish & mudfish. Bank angling is very limited due to the water grass and you are advised to use a kayak/boat/inflatable to fish Boskop Dam. You can find further details on boat launching in the Application to Launch.

TangleWood has five kayaks available for rent. All are single seaters, however 3 kayaks can be joined together. Kayaks can be hired from 8am and must be returned no later than 5pm. Please see our Kayak rental terms for more detailed information.

Our children’s cold water pool is located  in front of the dam and near the fishing camp. and it is approx. one meter deep. Parents are responsible for their kids as the pool is not fenced off and we do not have a lifeguard on duty.

Campsite Pool (Warm)

We have a small warm water pool located at the back of the campsite reserved for camping guests. The water temperature is around 31 degrees, however it is impacted by rain. Parents are responsible for their kids, as the pool is not fenced off and we do not have a lifeguard on duty.

Outdoor Photography

TangleWood is a popular location for outdoor photographers and we experience the most breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.
