CAMPING FACILITIES
Each stand or tent has access to one plug point (15 Amp 220v). Please bring a 15m extension cable. Cold water taps are shared. All stands/tents are located approx 100m away from the water and fishing from your stand is not possible. Stands 1-6 is right next to the jetty, and suited to clients who want to launch early from 5am. Customers are allocated a stand/tent when a booking is confirmed and must setup on their confirmed stand.
Our ablutions have hot water showers and flush toilets and staff clean bathrooms daily between 7am and 7pm or 5am to 9pm on weekends.
We use gas geysers - remember to switch on hot water tap first. Report any problems to our office.

Ladies: 3 showers, 1 bath, 3 basins & 3 toilets
Campers have access to an undercover wash up facility with stainless steel sinks, hot water and a shared fridge/freezer. On-duty staff have assigned tasks and we request that you do not ask TangleWood staff to do your washing up. Don’t forget to bring along all your own cooking utensils, eating and cleaning aids.
We have small rim and skottel braai’s suitable for 2- 4 persons and 1/2 drums suitable for larger families. All our braai's have grids.
Our bar is open for campers and day visitors during our bar opening hours starting from 11am. We offer a big screen in the venue suitable for sport viewing while selected sports channels can be watched at Happy Hooker Pub. We stock braai wood, charcoal, firelighters, ice and cold beverages. No own beverages may be brought into our bar or venue.
Pets are welcome on a leash and guests are responsible to clean up after their own pet. Please ensure your pet does not pose a threat or become a nuisance, including constant barking. Dogs are not allowed in TangleWood's tents, buildings, on our furniture, in the beach volley ball court or the swimming pools. Clients are recommended to bring along a play pen/enclosure for their pet when booking one of Tanglewood's tents.
TangleWood offers a low noise campsite and no music is allowed, including via car radio, cell phone or any other musical instrument. No bookings are taken for bachelor or other noisy party groups unless the campsite has been booked out for exclusive use. Staff, including night watch, are required to enforce the no music policy. We reserve the right to evict any client who refuses to adhere to this policy.
TangleWood is an ideal location for low noise family groups. Please contact us in advance for any special arrangements.
Accounts must be settled in full before check in and we recommend clients settling via EFT to make payment at least 48 hours before arrival to avoid delays in checking in.
Guests are allocated to a tent or stand depending on their selected camping option. TangleWood tents may not be moved.
